New Indoor Roller Coaster Announced for Dark Universe
Universal Orlando has officially announced the addition of a new indoor roller coaster to the Dark Universe section of Epic Universe. The Monsterverse-inspired land will soon feature an immersive attraction built on an all-new story related to the Universal Monsters franchise.

Location and Design Details
The new indoor roller coaster will be situated next to Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment, a centerpiece attraction within Dark Universe. Permits from Orange County indicate that the new attraction will be housed in a three-story building, approximately 93,308 square feet in size, with about 71,500 square feet designated as tenant space.
Anticipation and Themed Speculation
Although Universal has not revealed a specific opening date, they have stated that the coaster will debut "in the years ahead." Speculation among theme park enthusiasts suggests that the ride may be themed around the Creature from the Black Lagoon, though Universal has not confirmed any details about the storyline.
